There’s nothing quite like a dawnie, you’ve watched the forecast for days, there’s going to be surf and there’s going to be blue skies. It was an hour after dawn today but the idea’s the same, pack your kit in the van the night before, get the cameras ready and then head off, don’t forget a drink and some food.
When I got to the beach there was only one other car in the car park so it was pretty much deserted. The wave buoy was showing 2 to 3 feet on the beach and the wind offshore. I really scored, a few nice waves on my board and a hat full of nice shots to work with. The sort of morning that you never want to end, but the beach got busy and the waves dropped off, perfect had passed, until next time.
A great morning
