I’ve been seeing a few examples of ICM or ‘Intentional Camera Movement’ on social media, interesting dream like images, particularly of seascapes, sunrise and sunsets. So here is my take on it, I like the effect and it puts me in mind of dusting off my paint and using the images as the starting point for something. I love the way that there is a feeling of the sea, the sky or an island rather than concrete proof. These images have all been processed in Lightroom to boost their pastel effect and add a little vignette which, as you might guess, wouldn’t technically have been a part of the original image as a pure result of the open shutter and camera movement.
