I took my waterproof housing out to Marloes Sands for an evening surf and the following morning for a little splash around at Broad Haven. It’s interesting getting to know the housing and camera, positioning and camera settings in the water. It’s nice to try and time the shot sometimes but easier to shoot continuously. It’s akin to going crabbing, you go out with the camera or drop your line and see what you pull up. Although it’s possible to the images in camera I never really know what I’ve got until I get home, clean and dry the housing out for a few hours (often overnight) and then view the images on a big screen.
I got a few interesting images on these two outings and much more in the way of knowledge gained as to where to be and how to shoot.
A few of the images are below and I was happy enough with a couple of them to go ahead and print.
