Every cloud…

The surf has been good lately and although I was unable to take part this morning I was able to take a few pictures of others enjoying the waves at Broad Haven.

This was the end of the swell and so in the evening an opportunity for me to get out my ‘waterproof housing’, I included the quotation marks as it isn’t so much a water proof housing as a plastic bag glued to a transparent yoghurt pot! I’ve used it on one other occasion and got some great results, however this time was its second and last ever full outing. I spent half an hour getting an ice-cream headache in the late February sun and as I was leaving the water I noticed a worrying collection of water which seemed to be inside the bag. I spent a worrying 5 minutes walking back to the house wondering if my second camera which was sat in the bag was ruined or not (killer suspense eh?!). Well it turns out the camera survived, kudos to Panasonic. The ‘waterproof housing’ has now found a new home in the bin, time to move onto something a little more robust!

So I lost my housing, cloud, but saved my camera, serious silver lining.

Here are some of the pictures I took in the morning of surfers and also some from my last time out with the housing.
